Nigeria national team popularly called Super Eagles, will be putting their enterprise to a big test against one of the world's best footballing squad, Argentine national team.

The South American team has won the world cup twice and were the runners up at the last edition, 2014 world cup in Brazil. The team is place 4th in the current Fifa World Ranking.

Argentina Head coach Jorge Sampaoli will be unleashing against Super Eagles of Nigeria some of the world's most dangerous players: Lionel Messi, Mascherano, Serio Aguero, Di Maria, Dybala,  Gonzalo Higuain, Nicolas Otamendi... in his squad for the international friendly  against Nigeria on November 14, 2017.

Nigeria on the other hand, hasn't cross the second round of the world cup, but has always threatened to dislodge and spoil the chances of bigger teams; may have crop the reputation of "giant killers." The Super Eagles had a smooth sail during the current world cup qualifiers, winning all their matches expect an away draw against Cameroon...and qualified even with a match left to play in Algeria.

However,  La Albiceleste of Argentina are more of a familiar foe to Super Eagles. Infact, both teams have met four times in the past six world cup competitions Nigeria has ever participated. The 2014 edition match up in Brazil was a particularly 3 - 2 goals thriller. Ahmed Musa equalizing Lionel Messi's brace and Nigeria only lost at the nick of time.

The friendly match will be played in the 42, 000 capacity Krasnodar Arena Stadium promises to be another thriller. Nigeria presenting a largely young enterprising team that swept passsed their opponents in the qualifiers against Algeria, Cameroon and Zambia... And an Argentine team vastly experienced world class players that struggled all through the qualifiers, only managed to steal qualification against Equador 3 - 0 on their last game.

Some pundits believe even the best player in the Nigerian squad may not even be selected into La Albiceleste if he were an argentine. But the Nigerian team spirit is on high and they are currently playing so well as a team even without a real individual star.
